Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Lichfield to recruit a KS3 Geography Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school known for its strong community values, student-centred approach, and commitment to professional development.
Responsibilities of the KS3 Geography Teacher Role:
• Deliver engaging and creative Geography lessons across Key Stage 3
• Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the national curriculum
• Inspire students to develop a love for Geography and an understanding of the world around them
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and academic achievement
• Uphold all safeguarding procedures and school policies consistently
This KS3 Geography Teacher position is ideal for someone who is passionate about Humanities education and wants to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.
To apply for this KS3 Geography Teacher role, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 (KS4 experience desirable but not essential)
• Strong subject knowledge and effective lesson planning skills
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• A genuine passion for teaching Geography and encouraging curiosity about the world
