Pay: £160 – £210 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025
The Role – English Teacher: In this rewarding role, you’ll be delivering high-quality English lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. You will play a central role in supporting pupils’ academic growth and self-confidence through a rich and inclusive curriculum.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English, covering a diverse range of texts and writing styles.
• Planning engaging, student-focused lessons that spark curiosity and creativity.
• Creating a classroom environment where every learner feels respected, challenged, and supported.
• Collaborating with a dynamic and supportive English department to continually refine teaching practices.
• Providing tailored feedback and interventions to help all students reach their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate: • Holds
QTS,
PGCE, or a relevant teaching qualification in English.
• Brings strong subject knowledge and a passion for both literature and language.
• Has experience adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
• Displays excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
• Holds an
Enhanced DBS on the update service or is willing to obtain one through Smile Education.
