An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school located in Swinton. This is an exciting chance to become part of a dynamic and supportive teaching environment where high standards and student well-being are at the heart of the school’s ethos.

Pay Scale: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Immediate
 
The Role – PE Teacher
As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that promotes physical health, sportsmanship, and personal development across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sporting disciplines, catering to students of varying abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom and sporting environment that motivates students to participate and achieve.
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy competition through lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting your approach to support individual learning needs.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in sports clubs, fixtures, and school events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school to share resources and best practices.
 
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds QTS and has relevant experience teaching Physical Education in a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing students’ physical and personal skills.
  • Possesses excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Communicates effectively and builds positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Is dedicated to continuous professional development and upholding the highest standards of teaching.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or is willing to obtain one.
