Smile Education are delighted to be working with a Secondary school near Smethwick to support them in their search for a new Humanities Teacher to work on a long term full time basis from September 2025.

They have achieved building a fantastic reputation by fostering a nurturing yet disciplined environment where well-being and safety is priority for their students to thrive. This role is available for a September 2025 start.

Requirements for this Humanities role in West Bromwich: 
  • Degree in Humanities related subject (QTS required)
  • Experience in teaching Humanities to KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver an excellent standard of Humanities lessons
  • Maintain a good learning environment
  • Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
  • Supervise and support the work of teaching assistants and other support staff.
