Smile Education are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a knowledgeable and committed Health & Social Care Teacher for an immediate start.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support students pursuing pathways in health, social care and child development, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for further education and future careers.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons across KS4 and KS5 (where applicable)
  • Support elements of Child Development, including theory and coursework
  • Prepare students for coursework and examinations, ensuring strong outcomes
  • Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
  • Maintain a positive and structured learning environment in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) or have relevant teaching experience
  • Have experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level
  • Have knowledge or experience of Child Development (desirable)
  • Be confident supporting coursework and exam preparation
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be organised, proactive and committed to student progress
