Geography Teacher:
Smile Education is working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school located near Sutton Coldfield to recruit a full-time Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2025—or earlier for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, delivering engaging and well-struceogtured Geography lessons that align with the national curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students through GCSE and A-Level content, cultivating a love for Geography and encouraging critical thinking about the world around them.
You will join a collaborative and forward-thinking Humanities department within a supportive school community that values professional development and student wellbeing. While your main focus will be Geography, you may also be asked to provide general cover when needed to help maintain continuity across the school.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related subject and QTS (or equivalent)
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience delivering GCSE and A-Level Geography
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and challenge learners of all abilities
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
