Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in Stafford.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Preparing students effectively for GCSE Geography examinations.
• Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
• Developing students’ geographical knowledge, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND.
• Assessing students’ work and providing constructive feedback to support progress.
• Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Working collaboratively with the Geography department and wider school team.

The School Are Looking For

• Geography ECTs or fully qualified Geography Teachers.
• Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Geography curriculum.
• GCSE Geography teaching experience is desirable.
• A genuine passion for Geography and the ability to inspire students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A positive, professional and engaging approach.
• The ability to build strong relationships with students.
• Flexibility, reliability and a commitment to student progress.
