Are you a passionate Geography Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity this September?
Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Solihull area to recruit an enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive Humanities department committed to high-quality teaching and student success.
Whether you're an experienced teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or returning to the classroom, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
  • Teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Geography lessons.
  • Develop students' understanding of physical geography, human geography, environmental issues, and global citizenship.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress, preparing pupils for GCSE Geography.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
  • Work collaboratively within the Humanities department to deliver an engaging and inspiring curriculum.
About YouTo be considered, you will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school (KS3 and KS4).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
