Geography Teacher – The RoleAs a
Geography Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and teaching high-quality Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Contributing to curriculum planning within the Humanities department
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Supporting whole-school initiatives and extra-curricular activities
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and drive continuous improvement
This is a
full-time role available immediately, running
until Christmas 2025 with the
potential to extend into 2026.
Geography Teacher – Person SpecificationTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Geography or a closely related subject
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students in the subject
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to plan creative and engaging lessons
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
Both
experienced teachers and
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
