Smile Education are working with a secondary school in Leicester who are looking to recruit a Geography Teacher for an August 2026 start.
This is a great opportunity to join a welcoming Humanities department within a school that has strong behaviour systems, supportive leadership, and a positive atmosphere across the staff team. The school is looking for somebody who can deliver engaging Geography lessons and build strong relationships with students across KS3 and KS4.
The Role:
- Full-time Geography Teacher role
- Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
- Opportunity to teach KS5 for suitable candidates
- Full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
- Flexibility to consider a 4-day timetable or job share for the right candidate
- Long-term role with potential to become permanent
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting
- Be confident managing behaviour and delivering engaging lessons
- Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude into the classroom
