Food Technology Teacher
Smile Education is proud to be working alongside Trinity High School in Redditch to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2025. If you have a flair for food and a passion for teaching, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, practical, and engaging lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5 in line with the national curriculum. You’ll inspire students to develop confidence in the kitchen, understand the principles of nutrition, and build essential life skills. You may also be asked to cover general subjects when required, supporting the wider school community.
You’ll become part of a supportive, collaborative, and dynamic department committed to professional development and making a positive impact on students’ learning and personal development.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A relevant degree and QTS or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum and practical classroom delivery
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and support all learners
  • A genuine enthusiasm for food education and working with young people
