Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Female PE Teacher with a passion for inspiring young people to lead healthy, active lives? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated teacher to join a thriving secondary school community in Oldham, where staff and students work together to achieve excellence.

About the School This is a large, inclusive 11–16 academy that places student wellbeing and achievement at the heart of everything it does. The school has excellent facilities, including a modern sports hall, fitness suite, and extensive outdoor pitches. It holds a strong reputation for promoting participation in sport and physical activity for all students, with a vibrant extracurricular programme and success in local and regional competitions.

The Role You will deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging all students—particularly girls—to develop confidence, teamwork, and a love of physical activity. You will also contribute to extracurricular clubs and sporting events.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of a PGCE is essential
  • ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are warmly encouraged to apply
  • Strong subject knowledge and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
  • A positive role model with excellent communication and organisational skills
