Walkden. This role offers the chance to inspire young people—especially girls—to lead active lives, build self-belief, and develop key life skills through sport.
Location: Walkden, M28
Pay Scale: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Immediate
The Role – Female PE TeacherYou will be responsible for delivering a broad and inclusive PE curriculum across
Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of sporting disciplines
- Encourage full participation and increase confidence, particularly among girls
- Create an inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed
- Promote leadership, teamwork, and resilience in both lessons and extracurricular activities
- Track and assess student progress, adapting your approach to meet diverse learning needs
- Support whole-school life through active involvement in events, clubs, and sports teams
- Work collaboratively within the department to continuously improve outcomes
The Ideal Candidate Will:- Hold QTS and have experience teaching PE at secondary level
- Be passionate about girls' physical education and inclusive sport
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and a motivational teaching style
- Communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Show commitment to professional development and reflective practice
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
