We are looking for an engaging and motivated teacher who can inspire students through creative and impactful teaching, helping to develop confidence, communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of English. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for your next challenge or an ECT seeking a supportive environment to develop your career, we would love to hear fromyou.
The Role:
As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across the English curriculum, creating a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to succeed.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teaching both English Language and English Literature
  • Monitoring, assessing and tracking student progress
  • Differentiating learning to support students of varying abilities
  • Creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for English and inspiring young people
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
