What Makes You a Great Fit for This Role:- Must have a (Qualified Teacher Status) QTS or have a degree in English.
- An Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive environment to begin your teaching journey
- Passion for English, teaching and helping young people succeed.
- Experience working in a classroom or tutoring environment is desirable.
- Ability to work with students on a 1:1, group, and class basis.
- A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
- A determined, hard – working attitude!
About the Role:- As an English Teacher, you will prepare lessons and learning materials.
- You will use your own passion to inspire the younger generation.
- You will focus on helping students who need extra support with their work, ensuring they grasp essential concepts to improve their academic progress, exam results, and coursework.
- Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate.
- Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested.
