Smile Education are supporting a secondary school in the Oldbury/Sandwell area who are seeking an English Teacher to join them on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible. This is a full timetable role teaching English to KS3 and KS4 learners and is expected to run until at least the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue for the right candidate.
About the Role
The successful teacher will:
• Deliver English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver structured and engaging lessons
• Support learners in preparation for GCSE examinations
• Mark and assess pupil work in line with department policy
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive English faculty
• Promote a positive learning environment and strong student progress
