The Role Smile Education is seeking a passionate Secondary English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Greater Manchester. You will deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE English Language and Literature, helping pupils develop strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills.

What You’ll Do
  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 & KS4
  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
  • Support pupils of varying abilities, including SEND
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement
What You’ll Need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A relevant English degree or related subject
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
