Smile Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in the Cannock area, starting in January.

The Role:

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and inspiring lessons.
• Supporting students of different abilities to achieve their academic potential.
• Creating a positive classroom environment where respect, responsibility and high expectations are central.
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching to ensure all learners are supported.
• Contributing to the continued development and success of the English department.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.
• Has excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English.
• Can deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is committed to ensuring every student is challenged, supported and encouraged to succeed.
• Shares a commitment to high standards, positive relationships and student development.
