Smile Education are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a passionate and dynamic English & Drama Teacher for an immediate start.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative educator to deliver engaging lessons across both English and Performing Arts, inspiring students through literature, language and performance.

The Role:
  • Teach English across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to support Drama lessons and activities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that motivate and challenge students
  • Support students in developing analytical, written and performance-based skills
  • Contribute to extracurricular Drama activities, including clubs or productions
  • Maintain a positive and structured learning environment in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) or have relevant teaching experience
  • Have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (Drama experience desirable)
  • Be confident in delivering both academic and creative content
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to student progress
