- Contract: Full-Time
About the Role:
You’ll be joining a Humanities and Social Sciences team. Economics is a big deal here, and you’ll be the go-to expert for topics like market failure, monetary policy and etc.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Delivering clever, creative Economics lessons to KS4 & KS5 students.
- Demystifying terms like elasticity, GDP, and budget deficits.
- Using real-world data and case studies to show Economics in action.
- Encouraging students to think, question, and argue nicely.
- Offering feedback that motivates, challenges, and inspires.
- Working with a fab team to build a killer curriculum.
What We’re Looking For:- QTS or PGCE in Economics or a related subject.
- A strong academic background and the ability to simplify complex ideas without sounding like a textbook.
- Passion, humour, and a good grasp of what engages teenagers.
- Experience teaching KS4/KS5—or the energy and training to jump right in.
- A valid DBS (or willingness to get one through us).
