Smile Education Northwest are delighted to be working with a thriving secondary school located in north Manchester. We are currently seeking a Drama Teacher to join this friendly team from May 2024.

We are currently seeking a Drama Teacher to join this welcoming school from May half-term through until the end of the academic year, with scope to extend further into the new 2024/25 academic year for the right person. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a drama teaching position, including marking and planning. Applicants should be comfortable in handling some sensitive topics and themes. Creating a safe space where pupils can explore their own emotions through characters and engaging scripts.

This a fabulous opportunity to join a welcoming and vibrant team. The school is located in the north Manchester area, within proximity to Wigan, Bolton and Standish. The expected salary range for this position is between £150- 220 per day, depending on the experience.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both Early Career Teachers and experienced drama teachers are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

-        Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
