Computer Science Teacher
Smile Education are currently working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Stone, who are seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join their team. This full-time role is set to start after October half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative teacher who is passionate about technology and committed to inspiring the next generation of digital thinkers.

Responsibilities of the Computer Science Teacher role:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll teach a curriculum that develops students' skills in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, preparing them for a rapidly evolving digital world. You’ll also play a vital role in encouraging students to think creatively and critically about the role of technology in modern society.
To apply for this Computer Science role, you will need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
  • Specialism or teaching experience in Computer Science or ICT
  • Strong subject knowledge in programming (e.g. Python, Java, Scratch) and key theoretical concepts
  • Ability to deliver engaging lessons that stretch and support students of all abilities
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A collaborative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
