Are you a Business Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity from September?
Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-performing secondary school in Smethwick who are seeking a passionate and committed Business Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking to secure a long-term position, with the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
The successful Business Teacher will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Business lessons across KS4 and potentially KS5
- Creating a positive classroom environment where students are motivated to achieve
- Supporting students of varying abilities to make strong academic progress
- Preparing students effectively for examinations and assessments
- Working collaboratively with the wider department and school staff
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
- A qualified Business Teacher with QTS, or an ECT completing their teacher training
- Confident teaching Business at KS4 level
- Passionate about education and committed to raising student achievement
- Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
- An engaging and adaptable classroom practitioner
- Looking for a long-term role with potential to become permanent
- Long-term position starting September 2026
