This role is perfect for an Art specialist who can step into a supportive department and deliver engaging lessons while helping students refine coursework and achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons, with a strong focus on Year 11 GCSE students
- Support students with coursework, portfolio development and exam preparation
- Provide targeted intervention to boost attainment and confidence
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
- Work closely with the department to ensure continuity of learning
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) or have strong unqualified teaching experience
- Have experience teaching GCSE Art & Design
- Be confident supporting students with final pieces and coursework deadlines
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom presence
- Be adaptable, proactive and ready to hit the ground running
