Smile Education are recruiting for an Art Teacher to work at a SEN secondary school in the Stockport area. The role would be working at a tight knit school that boasts superb facilities.

The responsibilities of the Art Teacher role:
  • Plan and deliver captivating art lessons to KS3 – KS4 students
  • Focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and to express themselves through art
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurturing a love for learning will be central to your role.
  • Be able to structure lesson plans for different level of student needs.

  • A bachelor’s degree in art
  • Teaching certification or QTS / QTLS
  • Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
  • Prior experience of working within a SEN environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
