SEN Teacher

A progressive provision for children and young people no longer in mainstream education are looking for a full-time SEN EYFS teacher in the Walsall Area. This role would be perfect for a teacher with previous experience working with SEN looking for a new challenge.


 


I am currently looking for QTS teachers to work as a EYFS SEN Teacher.


The role will require you to work with EYFS students who are not currently in mainstream education.


 


The students are unable to access or maintain mainstream school and have moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties so experience in this field is an essential part of the role. This post will start almost immediately and be ongoing.


 



About you:  
  • Experienced supporting young people with complex learning difficulties.
  • You are motivated with an engaging personality with the ability to build rapport and engage young people 
  • To work as a SEN Teacher, you must have QTS or equivalent  
  • Positive handling training such as MAPA/NAPI/Team Teach would be desirable but not essential
  • You have a caring and inspired nature and a resilient attitude to supporting the young people in your care.
  • Have a minimum 12-month experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Be devoted and enthusiastic about supporting young people to receive the best quality education
  • You have strong knowledge and background of working with children in Early years foundation stage.
  • Engaged and organised, you will be able to plan lessons and activities and adapt them to meet individuals’ requirements.

This provision works nationally with young people who are facing difficulty in accessing education.


 


This setting is dedicated to working alongside professionals in education, health and social care and provide advisory support to help children and young people reach their full potential.
