Childrens Residential Support Workers

Residential Children’s Support Workers

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Smethwick based (B66 2AF) residential setting, seeking experience and qualified Children’s Residential Support Workers.

Your new role as a Residential Support Worker:
  • £17,500 to £21,050 per annum  
  • Full time (minimum of 40 hours per week)
  • Shifts to be worked on a rota basis – Days and sleep nights
  • As a Residential Support Worker, you will be supporting children aged from 8-16 years who have both behavioural and learning difficulties

Where you’ll be working as a Residential Support Worker:
  • Recently modernised 3 bedded home with 2 settled children in placement
  • Excellent facilities for both staff and residents
  • Well established experienced and supportive team with daily team meetings
  • Pleasant atmosphere with a great team ethic

What you need to be a Residential Support Worker:
  • Minimum of 12 months experience working with children, preferably as a Residential Support Worker
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Residential Care or equivalent
  • The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with vulnerable children
  • Hold a full driving licence

This role is commutable from West Bromwich, Dudley, Halesowen, Birmingham, Walsall, Stourbridge, Aldridge, Wolverhampton, Brownhills, Kidderminster and Shenstone.
