Smile Education is working in partnership with a Primary School in South Birmingham. They need a Primary Teacher to help support their Year 5 class.

This primary school is incredibly, diverse and engaging – there has been lots of new developments across the school to help modernise children’s learning.

This role will be full time, for the duration of the summer term – part time candidates will still be considered.

The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil all aspects of the teaching role including planning, marking, completing reports, parents evening and data collections. You will join a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.

Applications from ambitious ECTs would be welcome, as would applications from more experienced colleagues.

The successful candidate must have:
  • QTS/PGCE Qualification
  • 2 education-based references
  • Knowledge of UK National Curriculum
  • A passion for teaching
  • Good approach to behaviour management
  • A determined, hard-working attitude
