Year 2 Class Teacher – September 2025 Start
Primary School – DE65 Area | Full-Time | 
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, two-form entry primary school in the DE65 area, and we are excited to be recruiting a Year 2 Class Teacher to join a friendly and committed team from September 2025.

About the Role
You will be the main class teacher for a lively and enthusiastic Year 2 class of around 28 pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive school where creativity and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Lead and work closely with a dedicated teaching assistant.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers.
  • Contribute to a positive school culture, working collaboratively with colleagues.
