Year 1 Early Career Teacher

We are currently seeking a Year 1 Early Career Teacher, to join this welcoming team from September 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply as systems are already in place to support those completing induction terms. Pathways also exist to provide career growth and development, including into middle leadership roles.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a part of a welcoming school community, with clear career progression pathways already in place. The school is located in north Manchester, within proximity to Salford, Trafford, and Prestwich. The expected salary range for this position is between £140-190 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply due to systems being in place to support those working through their induction terms. However, there are clear career progression pathways in place which may be attractive to experienced teachers looking for a new challenge.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Confident in delivering Year 1 curriculum, including supporting pupils working towards Phonics Screening tests
- Dedicated to delivering the best to pupils through an engaging and diverse curriculum
