Year 1 Early Career Teacher

We are currently seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join this busy and dynamic team, from September 2024 until the end of the 2024/25 academic year. The successful applicant will be carrying out all of the usual roles and responsibilities associated with a Class Teaching position, including marking and planning. There will be a primary focus on supporting pupils with phonics due phonics screening tests in the summer term. As such you will be supported by a class teaching assistant to ensure pupils are accessing curriculum.
This is a great role for both ECT’s and experienced Class Teachers, ECT’s are able to complete their induction terms within this role. The school is based in north Manchester, within proximity to Failsworth, Monsall and the City Centre. The expected salary range for this role is between £140-190, depending on experience level.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply, ECT’s will have the opportunity to complete their induction terms and be supported by a mentor within this role.
