Smile Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school based in Burton-on-Trent for a nurturing Year 1 Class Teacher.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
• To plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 framework.
• Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all.
• Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Assess and record pupils' progress, offering guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Participate actively in team meetings, staff training, and parent consultations.
What we are looking for:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS1.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and best practices in primary education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young learners.
