SEN Specialist Teacher - Full Time (SEN Specialist)
Location: B32 Pay: £140 - £200 Per day (Based on experience)
Contract – Full time opportunity Monday– Friday until end of academic year.

passionate Primary SEN Teacher to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated
SEN specialist teacher to
lead a class of SEN pupils, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support both academic progress and personal development. The role is suitable for teachers with experience in
KS1, and or KS2, who are committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
The Role
- Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching tailored to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Plan and implement personalised learning programmes in line with EHCPs and IEPs.
- Create a safe, supportive and structured learning environment that promotes positive behaviour.
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress and development.
- Use differentiated and multi-sensory approaches to meet individual learning needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and external professionals.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and parents/carers.
- Contribute to reviews, meetings and multi-agency planning.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion always.

Requirements
- Experience working with Autism (minimum 6 months)
- Qualified teacher status (ESSENTIAL) (QTS)
- SEN Teaching experience (minimum 6 months)
- Professional and caring nature, create a safe and exciting environment
- Committed to full time – Being reliable (these children are counting on you!)
- Able to provide a minimum of 2 references cover the past two years. At least one reference should comment on your interaction with children.
- Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education.
- Previous experience excelling in A alternate provision setting
