Smile Education is proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking Multi Academy Trust to recruit a qualified Primary Teacher to deliver high-quality cover across a Reception class in a setting within Grimsby.

About the Role
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences that promote numeracy, language, and social skills based on individual needs and interests.
- Ensure high standards of safety, security, and hygiene are maintained in the classroom at all times. Actively follow safeguarding policies to protect children.
- Act as a "key person" for a group of children, overseeing their settling-in process, monitoring their progress, maintaining learning journals, and setting individual developmental targets.
- Observe children to track their development, identify next steps in learning, and report on progress to parents and managers.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children's wellbeing and daily experiences.
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and changing nappies, while promoting independence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating, welcoming, and tidy environment.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds QTS Teacher qualification
- Has recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
- Is confident across Reception classes
- Is flexible, proactive, and comfortable with morning bookings at short notice
- Can provide two professional references covering the last two years
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one through Smile Education)
- Support from experienced, dedicated education consultants
