The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Inspire children to achieve their academic, social and emotional potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • A minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience (teaching placements accepted for ECTs).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A positive, proactive and child-centred approach to teaching.
Essential Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide references covering the previous two years, including at least one reference relating to work with children. Providing referee details during your pre-screen or registration appointment will help ensure a smooth compliance process and the quickest possible clearance.
  • Please note that sponsorship is not available for these positions.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a registration appointment with Smile Education as part of our safeguarding and compliance process. Registrations are arranged as soon as possible once your application form and required documentation have been received and are complete, allowing us to clear candidates efficiently for work.
