Inspire the Next Generation in Denton Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious primary academy in the Denton area, working in partnership with the Enquire Learning Trust (ELT).

Situated in a well-established residential community in Tameside, this inclusive and nurturing primary school is committed to helping every child reach their full potential. The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess progress and adapt teaching to maximise pupil achievement.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Minimum of 6 months' UK classroom experience (placements accepted for ECTs).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding primary education.
  • A positive, child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
Essential Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
  • Ability to provide two years of employment and/or education references, including one relating to working with children.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Registration & Compliance
Successful applicants will complete Smile Education's safeguarding and compliance registration process. Our dedicated compliance team works efficiently to ensure candidates are cleared for work as quickly as possible once all required documentation has been received.
