Are you an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher ready to guide pupils through their final year of primary school?

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school community in the Great Barr (B43) area. This full-time, long-term position is ideal for someone passionate about helping children achieve academic success and personal growth.

About the Role - year 6 Teacher:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to a Year 6 class, preparing pupils for their SATs and the transition to secondary school. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a nurturing, positive approach to teaching.

Requirements of a year 6 Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 6)
  • Knowledge of KS2 SATs preparation and the national curriculum
  • Passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
