A primary school based in
Rochdale is seeking a dynamic and adaptable
Primary Supply Teacher to provide vital support across departments. In this role, you’ll have the flexibility to work across different classrooms, covering for teachers on short-term or long-term absences. Your role will include delivering planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting students across the primary age range, from EYFS to KS2.
As a supply teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to experience diverse school environments and gain insights into different teaching practices. You’ll be expected to manage classrooms effectively, adapting quickly to each school’s policies and procedures to ensure a smooth transition for students. This position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety and can create engaging learning experiences across various subjects.
Responsibilities include:- Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Quickly adapting to each school’s routines and expectations to support student learning
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies to maintain a productive environment
- Assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback where needed
Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with students across a variety of age groups
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS and up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)
