Smile Education is recruiting a Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming and supportive Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Leicester.

This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children who require a personalised approach to education. This SEN school provides a safe, calm and inclusive environment for pupils aged 5-11 who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education, alongside specialist provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Communication & Interaction needs. The school is committed to helping every child thrive through high-quality teaching, positive relationships and outstanding pastoral support.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Primary teaching experience
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
  • Experience with teaching in a SEMH, SEND or alternative provision is essential
