Smile education are recruiting for an experienced primary school teacher for PPA cover across a 2 form entry school in the Redditch.

The Role
They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across the primary age range, providing PPA cover while maintaining consistency, creativity, and high standards of learning.
Key Responsibilities of this PPA teacher:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required
  • Ensure continuity of learning during PPA cover
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil wellbeing
  • Assess pupils’ progress and provide feedback in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The expectations of the PPA teacher
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching across the primary age range
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be adaptable, organised, and confident teaching different year groups
  • Share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills
