About the Role
Smile Education are proud to be supporting one of our fantastic partner schools in Redditch to recruit a full-time PPA Teacher. This role is the perfect opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain broad experience across KS2 and lower KS3, teaching a variety of subjects without the added responsibility of planning.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging pre-prepared lessons across Years 5 to 8, allowing you to focus on developing your classroom practice, behaviour management, and confidence as a teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects in Years 5–8.
  • Manage classrooms effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Uphold the school’s policies and safeguarding procedures.
About You
  • QTS status (or working towards – ideal for ECTs).
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to develop teaching practice.
  • Confident in delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to ensuring every pupil reaches their full potential.
