Smile Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Cannock area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated PPA Teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and Qualified teacher who enjoys working across different year groups, delivering engaging lessons and making a positive impact on children's learning and development.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a PPA Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons across a range of primary year groups.
- Cover classes during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.
- Follow prepared lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils of different abilities.
- Maintain positive behaviour and encourage pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- The ability to confidently teach across different primary year groups.
- A flexible, organised and adaptable approach.
- A genuine passion for teaching and helping children succeed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
