Job Title: PPA Cover Teacher
Hours: Full Time (Monday–Friday) – Part-time applicants also welcome
Pay: In line with pay scale
Start Date: September (or sooner)

About the school:
A welcoming primary school in the Bournville/Northfield area is currently recruiting multiple PPA Cover Teachers to work across both KS1 and KS2 from September. The school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust, offering opportunities to work across different schools and locations if desired.
This school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. With a strong emphasis on respect, kindness, and resilience, staff work collaboratively to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences. Pupils are encouraged to become confident, independent learners in a positive and supportive setting.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
  • Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons and marking work
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons (no planning required)
  • Ensure pupils complete set tasks to a high standard
  • Mark work where required
  • Build positive relationships with pupils quickly
  • Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management

  • 24 months of references, a minimum of one from school settings
