Salary: Based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning across both KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
- Adapt to different year groups and classroom environments as needed.
- Deliver targeted interventions to small groups and individuals.
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with SEND, fostering both academic and emotional development.
- Work closely with class teachers and SEND staff to ensure inclusive and effective support.
- Maintain a positive, proactive approach to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Working closely and communicating effectively with the class teacher and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – essential
- Experience supporting children across Key Stage 1 and 2
- Confident in leading small-group and individual interventions
- Experience or interest in supporting pupils with SEND
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, team-focused attitude
