KS2 Teacher – Redditch (Part-Time, Thursdays and Fridays) | September Start

Smile Education on behalf of Bordesley Multi Academy Trust

Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with Bordesley Multi Academy Trust to recruit a passionate and adaptable Key Stage 2 Teacher for a Redditch-based middle school. This is a part-time position, teaching on Thursdays and Fridays, starting in September 2025.

The Role: This varied and rewarding timetable includes:
  • 2 x Reading lessons
  • 3 x French lessons
  • 3 x Design Technology (DT) lessons
  • 1 x History lesson
  • 2 x Computer Games lessons
You will be working with pupils across Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet a range of learning needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong classroom control and a clear understanding of behaviour management strategies, alongside a sensitivity to and experience with special educational needs (SEN).

What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS2 (Middle school experience desirable)
  • Confident delivery across a broad subject range
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive classroom environment
  • A clear understanding of how to support and differentiate for pupils with SEN
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching
