Smile Education is seeking a passionate KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Uttoxeter as a part-time KS2 teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ final years of primary school, helping them to thrive academically and emotionally before their move to secondary school.

About the Role
You’ll be working closely with your job-share partner to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for KS2 classes. Planning responsibilities are shared, allowing for collaboration, fresh ideas, and creative approaches to learning.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver inspiring lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum.
  • Support pupils in SATs preparation and their wider personal development.
  • Track progress and provide meaningful feedback, ensuring continuity of learning in partnership with your job-share colleague.
  • Engage with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
What We’re Looking For
  • QTS and experience teaching Upper KS2 (ideally Year 5 or 6).
  • Knowledge of SATs preparation and primary assessment strategies.
  • A collaborative, communicative approach to teaching.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to motivate young learners.
