Smile Education are proud to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the ST17 area of Staffordshire, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team.
About the Role:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Creating a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment.
- Tracking, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Attending staff meetings, parent consultations, and contributing to wider school life.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and the leadership team.
- Leading on assessment and differentiation to support the needs of all learners.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Previous experience teaching in KS1.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Passionate about inspiring young learners and committed to their development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
