Are you an Early Career Teacher due to finish your teaching qualification soon? Looking for your first teaching role from September? 

Smile Education are proud to be working in partnership primary schools across Rugeley and staffordhsire, supporting them with their recruitment for primary school teachers. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated ECT to gain further experience within the schol setting. 

About the Role:
  • Planning and delivering effective and engaging lesson plans to the whole class.
  • Adapting lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet and support all children’s learning needs and abilities.
  • Managing and supervising classroom behaviour following the schools’ policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a strong, positive parent partnership.
  • Completing reports and assessments focusing on children’s individual learning and development.
  • Providing clear, effective feedback and marking to learners and their families.
  • Creating a positive learning environment for all and ensuring strong, professional relationships.

Successful applicants will:
  • Hold or awaiting a QTS alongside experience teaching in a KS1/KS2 classroom.
  • Show good knowledge of the national primary curriculum.
