Early Years Lead – Primary School Setting
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Lead to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school on a full-time, long-term ongoing basis.

  • One-form entry primary school
  • Approximately 210 pupils on roll
  • Ofsted rated “Good”
  • Supportive leadership team and positive school culture
Key Responsibilities
The Early Years Lead will:
  • Lead and oversee the Early Years provision across Nursery and Reception
  • Ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with EYFS
  • Monitor pupil progress and use data to drive improvement
  • Support and develop Early Years staff
  • Lead curriculum planning and maintain strong practice across the phase
  • Build positive relationships with parents/carers and external agencies
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have strong EYFS knowledge and leadership experience
  • Be an inspiring, reflective practitioner
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children
