Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Sports Coach to join a secondary school in West Bromwich, supporting pupils across the school both in lessons and through wider sporting activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for sport, physical activity and working with young people. The school is open to applicants looking for full-time, part-time or flexible work, making this an ideal role for experienced Sports Coaches, graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with a strong sporting background.
The Role:
- Supporting PE lessons and sporting activities across the secondary school
- Encouraging pupils to participate in physical activity and develop their sporting skills
- Supporting pupils both in and outside of lessons
- Helping to promote teamwork, confidence and positive behaviour
- Potentially supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and lunchtime activities
- Working alongside teaching staff to provide a positive and engaging environment
- A genuine passion for sport and working with young people
- Any previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial
- Sports coaching, PE, school or youth work experience is desirable but not essential
- Graduates with a sporting background are encouraged to apply
- Reliable, enthusiastic and confident when working with pupils
- Able to build positive relationships with young people
